Man has it been a busy few months for Business Changing clients – so many wins, awards, progressions and media! I’ve tried to sum them all up here, but if I’ve missed you out, please shout! Very proud of you all!
THE ENGINE ROOM won a flood of awards in the Metro Top 50 this year, as usual: did you know they have won the same category every year since they opened 11 years ago?! That’s huge! All because their fit-out and service is so friendly and welcoming and their food is simply brilliant. This year they won Best Neighbourhood Bistro; made finalist for Best Service and Peugeot People’s Choice Award for Auckland’s Favourite Dish: their double-baked goats’ cheese soufflé.

Roastery and cafe GURULIFE in Australia topped Metropolist’s Best Coffee on the Sunshine Coast list – wahoo!
Rodelle of SISTERS & CO opened her third retail store at the Mount. Pair specialises in just selling cool shoes and is Rodelle’s third store at the Mount and is already going great guns!
Sanjesh Lal of KEOLA beat many construction heavyweights to take out gold (yes, gold!) at the New Zealand Commercial Project Awards for their work on the stunning West Auckland daycare, Chrysalis Early Learning Centre.
The awesome CHILLBOX CREATIVE team have been working hard on a high-profile support campaign for our New Zealand Olympic team. They’ve created videos in the theme of “Be the Inspiration”, which are proving a huge hit – most are getting between 15,000 and 500,000 views!
The awards just keep coming for TIME Unlimited. They’ve continued their winning streak in 2016, taking home the National Geographic World Legacy Award in the “Sense of Place” category! Huge achievement!
Gosia Piatek’s organic clothing label KOWTOW got a shout-out on Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop website, which is huge!
More congrats are in order for HUFFMAN’S SAUCES – they won an unprecedented four medals at this year’s The World Hot Sauce Awards!
WILD WHEAT owner Andrew Fearnside is in growth mode at the moment, which includes lots of new hires – they’re currently at 85 staff… and growing all the time. He spoke to the NZ Herald about his hiring strategy and what he does to hire right – read that HERE.
